For admin users of Advanced WFM or Enterprise WFM, you now have more user rights options. injixo’s new user roles interface allows you to create and manage roles better. You can also use categories to keep your roles organized.
What makes this different?
If you have created custom user roles before, this is different. The new user roles interface allows you to assign rights across all of injixo. Weren't you able to do that before? No.
Let's digress a little...
A tale of two injixos
injixo is one of the first cloud WFM applications. In the early days, injixo built a lot of powerful features. The only problem: injixo relied on Internet Explorer. With time, the old injixo became as clunky as the browser it was built on.
Fortunately, the new injixo is made for the modern cloud experience. It is browser-agnostic. It's faster. Smarter. It is made to work with more channels and to integrate with other cloud softwares. It's user-interface is sleek and simplifies the complex work of workforce management.
Here's where it gets interesting... The old injixo still exists for now. You can find it lurking under the "WFM" menu. The good news? The new injixo is everything else. From "Forecast" to "Support," the majority of features are the new injixo.
Insider tip: if you want to know when you're using the old injixo, check your browser. Old injixo starts with "https://iwfm.
"
What does this have to do with user rights?
The new user rights interface allows you to customize permissions for all of injixo. Both old and new. Before, you could only manage and customize roles for features in the old injixo.
What does this actually allow you to do?
You can create a new “Intraday Manager” role, for example, with access to only Intraday and Dashboards (Analyze). Or simply adjust one of the standard roles like:
- Limiting the standard “Planner” role to only have access to Schedules (Plan).
- Extending a “Supervisor” to have access to a few of the “Planner” role features.
After creating your custom roles, you can also organize your user roles into categories.
Why categorize your user roles?
Categorizing your user roles ensures users get future injixo updates automatically. Secondly, it's nice. Who doesn't like a little organizing?
tl;dr
injixo's new user roles interface gives you admin superpowers. You can create and manage roles across the whole product, which wasn't possible until now. You can also organize these roles, so your users automatically get the latest feature releases. Flexibility and organization in one place. Yes, please.✨
